Anne Hathaway Short Hair.
Up until 2012, Anne's hair was like Old Faithful, something to rely on. Those dark shoulder-length waves were symbols of stability gracing red carpets the world over. During filming of "Les Miserables" the role she plays, Fantine, is forced to cut her hair in order to sell it for the board and lodgings of her daughter. Never one to avoid suffering for her art and a small nod to the sacrifice of her character, Anne opted not to use wigs or other special effects but to chop it off on camera. Quoted as being blasé until it came to the crunch, she made the scene all the more convincing.
While her hair was long, it was always her natural dark chocolate color or near to it which complimented her pale complexion. As you can see from the images to the left, she experimented with some lighter shades on her short locks. In our opinion, her natural color suits her far better than the ash blonde especially.
Fashion and Tresses.
Considered one of the most fashionable and glamorous Hollywood stars. She always appears gorgeous on and off cam. Anne's admired for her sense of fashion as well as her new and fresh look. She keeps herself simple and can wear almost any kind of outfit in her movies. Yet she still manages to keep her individual fashion style. See her wearing anything from ordinary T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts to extravagant ball gowns in her films.
She can wear pants, skinny jeans or anything and still look good. As for her sense of hairstyle, she always manages to stun even though she keeps her style neat, comfortable, and simple. The chocolate brown, ear length pixie was her base style for a few years which she would diversify for different events by adding details like quiffs or ruffles.
The Glamorous Look. We've known Anne for long dark tresses for most of her career but getting scalped for "The Glums" caused a bit of a stir. During the Oscars award ceremony, Anne changed outfits to a blue silk Saint Laurent gown from an icy pink red carpet gown for the after party celebration. She then added some refreshing touches to her chocolate brown, pixie locks by jazzing the fringes with little extra texture.
Anne is a native of Brooklyn, New York and later transferred to Milburn, New Jersey. She's the second among her three siblings and the only girl.
Anne dated Raffaello Follieri for 4 years. Raffaello is an Italian real estate developer and he and Anne became an official couple in 2004. Follieri was accused of financial irregularities involving the Vatican and swindling millions of dollars. This precipitated the end of the relationship and some accusations were later proven. In the same year, she found true love in Adam Shulman and the couple married in 2012 and have a baby boy named Jonathan.
